The World We Choose to Live In God has given us so much to enjoy here in this life; indeed, He wants us to enjoy it. That is why He put it here. Why then do we go through life collecting the houses, cars, things… when it seems to cause more stress than freedom? Why, because without the presence of His Word in the world that we live, the things we are enjoying, have little flavor. Which world do you live primarily in, the natural world?, or the world of God’s Word? Let me explain; The Word of God is the map to living in this world with truth. The world declares you are sick, but the world of the Word declares you are healed! The world declares that you are broke, the world of the Word declares, “The blessings of the Lord maketh rich, and addeth no sorrow to it…” (Proverbs 10:22) The world makes it hard for you to enter into peace, the world of the Word promises us, "I will keep them in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed up on me.” (Isaiah 26:3). For everything the world to declares, the Word of the Lord declares the opposite “…Choose you this day whom you will serve…” (Joshua 24:15 Will the Word of the Living God have preeminence in your life, or will the world continue to reign? Declare with me now; “As for me and my house, I will serve the Lord! I will not be moved by the things that I see, I will be moved only by the Word of God! I give the Word of God control of my life, and complete authority. I declare that the Word of God has the only say in my life and I will cast down all the imaginations that exalt themselves above the Word of God.” Did you really mean it? It won't work if you didn't! Oh that we might believe His Word! That it is not just something we read, but it is something that WE ARE… To the glory of God the Father!
