Spooning with Jesus While the waves are crashing, the winds are blowing, and it feels like all is lost. Find comfort in knowing Jesus is asleep at the bottom of the ship. Our flesh can get caught up in the things of this world so much, that we forget, we have a loving Father, who is watching our every move. He knows what waves are coming, and He knows the force of the wind. He hears the thunder, but with one small whisper, all is calm. No matter the size of the mountain you are facing, God is there. No matter what the storm looks like, God is there. It is amazing to think that the one, who can control all, is in love with us. His love is not based on your goodness, or what you think you could bring to the table. It is based only on the fact He loved you first. As things go, what might seem to be out of control, just follow the masters lead. Slip quietly down the stairs, go slowly into to a cabin, lift an arm of Jesus and get in there and snuggle. Fall asleep in his arms, and just rest in the Creator’s love. Where else is there? Fearing what you cannot do anything about, only leads you away from faith. Just the opposite happens when you rest... you draw nearer to Him. Where else would you want to be? Two things will happen in that moment, your fear will subside, and your problem will go away. The Bible says, call upon the name of the Lord, and the devil will flee from you. Where do you think your storms are coming from? Not God, they come from old stupid, [the devil]. When you say “Lord, I’m choosing to believe Your Word over the circumstance” is when my friends, the Victory is yours. That is when your faith is set ablaze!!! So go ahead, what do you have to lose? What you are trying now hasn't worked. Try spooning with the one who died for you.... JESUS!!!
