Never Alone “…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5). Sometimes when things are not going the way we hoped, or the way we think they should, we can feel like we are in a no win situation. We can feel like we are alone with our misery. We face the uphill battles and see no way out, and at some point, we reach our end…Then out of desperation, we cry out to the Lord for help. If we only knew that the Lord was there from the beginning and fully ready to help us from the start. You see He made a promise, [“to never leave, nor forsake us”] and there is no conditions to that promise. God said it, so He must do it! The Lord’s promise “I WILL NEVER” is not predicated or based on what we have done right or wrong. It is not a conditional clause in a contract. In fact, we have no part in it at all. It was spoken by the Lord God, so the fulfillment of He’s promise is solely upon Him alone. He is there now! No matter what you have or haven’t done or what you are going through…HE IS THERE, by His own obligation. He longs to be active in our every situation, good or bad. I mean He’s your Father after all. Seriously, if He gave you His Son, do you think He will leave you dangling over a cliff? Of course not. He is going to always do what His Word said. So won’t you call on Him today? Let Him who loves you, intervene on your behalf. Your Father has all power in His hands, and He wants to use that power for you. He loves you with an everlasting love. Trust Him, He cannot lie… He must fulfill His promises. How can you lose? There is only one way…keep doing it without Him. Call on Him today…He is right next to you!
