Learn to Walk in Love Not always the easiest thing to do, but to honor our Father we must walk in love. “But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you. Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you” (Luke 6:27-28). Sometimes in life, it seems like we are attacked on all fronts for all sorts of reasons. This is never truer than when you are following after Christ. When you follow Him, you are bound to get the devil mad. So the devil’s goal is to get you to move into the flesh. How can he do that you ask, simple, by getting people to do his dirty work for him. Getting someone to lash out, being nasty to you or flat out lying about you is what the devil does. Then in most cases he can get a response that is going to pull you from the Word and back into the flesh. You see, when you are in the Word the devil is weak and you are strong. When you are in the flesh the devil has you since that was the trap he set for you to begin with. Oh Yea, the devil wants you to fall so he can beat you down even more. And when you fall, all you have worked for will be tarnished. This why [Luke 6] is so important to our victory! When we act according to the Word, the problem then is no longer ours to handle… It’s God’s. Every time we choose to obey the Word, we activate His promises. We sow a seed into the Spirit which then allows God to move on our behalf. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7). When you sow His Word by action, you reap His Word by action upon you and your situation. Believe you me; God responding to your situation is a million times more effective than you or me responding to it. So let’s do this together right now… “Father, we praise you for who you are. Father, we thank you for all you have done for us. We thank you for your Word and the life contained in every Word you speak. Right now through and by the name of Jesus, I bless_________, and I rebuke satan from interfering with _______ any longer. I release your peace over their spirits and I speak your divine favor over this entire situation. Father, we so love you, and we give you praise for your Word having its way right now in this. Thank you Father. In Jesus name we declare it all Amen!" Now rest my friends. Every time something rises up against what we have prayed… cast it down and exalt His Word.
