Feeling down? There are times that life's troubles and problems seem to want to overtake us at every turn. Many times it can feel like the weight of the world is upon your shoulders. But rejoice, because God is near and is fully aware of your situation. He tells you to cast all your cares upon Him, because He cares for us. “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” (1 Peter 5:7). Sometimes we might wonder how this is done, but it’s really very simple…Talk to Him now. Repeat after me: " Father, I love you and thank you for all that you do for me. You have helped me through every Valley, and let the sunshine hit my face on every mountaintop. I thank you for those times, but I need those times again. There are times when I need to feel your love. Times when I need to see your hand move on my behalf. It is through your grace that I breathe. It is through your grace that I find victory. Let it be again! Today Father, I lift up your name and turn my problems over to you. Today I rest in your arms, knowing that you are my Great Comforter. Father, I give you my life afresh and a new day. Today I turned away from my fears and worries, and from my stress and concerns. And I cried Abba Father, for you alone are my strength! I believe you! I trust you! I will not let Satan gain ground in my life! I rebuke the devourer, in the name of Jesus! I declare victory over all he has prepared! I Thank You Lord for comforting me. You alone deserve the glory for all things! I love you Father, and Thank You for the loving me first. Amen." Now go and REST! Watch the Father do all things on your behalf! Believe in The One who is always faithful. “…thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds” (Psalm 36:5).
