God Is Near When it is the darkest… You know God is near. When you think of Daniel, you think of the Lion’s den. Have you thought of what that must have been like? Do you wonder whether or not if Daniel was afraid, if there was any fear within him? I don't! Otherwise the story of Daniel would have been “How Daniel Was Eaten by Lions” Fear is Faith's polar opposite, it is faith in the flesh. When you believe in what you see in this world, you stop believing in the Word. What if Daniel would have arrived at the entrance to the lion’s den screamed and ran for his life? Would he have been in fear or faith? Which is God moved by? But we know that Daniel did not run. He walked into that den with the full assurance that God would keep His promise. Where are you? Are you at the mouth of the den? Then go ahead and SCREAM! "GOD IS ABLE!" Make all of “Hell” quiver with your confidence in God! Tell the guard to let you go, and run into the den with full assurance… God is able! Be fully persuaded that He loves you more than anything. “…that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,…” (11 Peter 1:4) "…as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee,…” (John 17:21) So go on… Sleep with the Lions, because our Father will make them lambs.
